Perspektywy Women in Tech Summit 2026
15.04.2026
It is the 8 th time that the Perspektywy Education Foundation, along with 100 partners,
would like to invite you to a unique conference for women. The event will take place in
Warsaw, 10 and 11 June (EXPO XXI, Prądzyńskiego 12/14) and as every year, we
expect it to gather over 1,000 participants from over 80 countries. This year’s Summit
motto is UNLEASH NEW ENERGY. Because the story of life on Earth and of
civilisation is the story of energy, and new challenges require us to unleash new energy!
“Energy is an important part of our life. It allows us to grow, cooperate, create technology,
and build the future. When energy is insufficient, we lose not only strength and agency, but
also the feeling of security: individual, social, and geopolitical. This is why we need energy
that is inexhaustible, clean, and available to all. Energy that we can manage intelligently,
responsibly, and sustainably, with respect to humans and their sensitivity, care for
environment, and trust for technological progress,” says dr Bianka Siwińska, the Summit’s
creator and the chair of the Perspektywy Education Foundation, organiser of the event. She
adds: “This is the eight time that we organise the Perspektywy Women in Tech Summit,
because for years we have been working on increasing women’s participation in IT/Tech, so
that the world’s technological future is created with taking into account the needs of all users,
making the proposed solutions better and better thanks to including various perspectives.
Because the real energy of inventions that change the world is the joint effort, where each
voice is important, heard, and appreciated.”
Perspektywy Women in Tech Summit 2026 in short:
10,000 talented women and men in one place
2 days full of knowledge, inspiration and possibilities for career development
2-days long huge Career Fair with interviews and industry networking
5 stages with the most influential female leaders, scientists, and engineers
400 inspiring speakers, mentors, and special guests
50 informative workshops
50 inspiring tech talks
500 individual mentoring sessions
100 stands representing the most innovative global tech companies and universities
Perspektywy Women in Tech Summit 2026 is an invitation to consciously shape the
direction of changes in the key technologies of the future and their impact on business,
society, and work culture. Therefore the Summit’s main topics in 2026, apart from the main
theme, which is NEW ENERGY, will include: people-oriented technology, future of work,
robotics, heavy industry, biotechnology, responsible AI.
Traditionally, the event organisers will demonstrate their care for environment. The entire
carbon footprint created during preparations for the event and its duration will be calculated
and compensated.
In 2026 we will support wetlands restoration.
In connection with caring for the environment, the organisers provide: free public transport
for Summit participants; hundreds of bicycle stands installed near Expo XXI; a selection of
vegan and vegetarian meals and Warsaw tap water. Like in the previous editions, the Summit
will include a special Climate Zone (a space for discussion and interesting presentations by
leading ecological organisations on protecting our planet).
Summit is also a regular meeting place for C-level people, professionals, and new-tech
students. Career Zone: Just like every year, the Summit will have a huge Career Fair with
lots of attractive job offers and industry networking!
HOT GUESTS!
Like every year, the world’s best technology experts will visit the Summit. Among over 500
speakers there will be some special guests, including:
ENRICA PORCARI, Chief Information Officer at CERN. A technology and
innovation leader with over 30 years of experience in managing global IT systems,
digital transformation, and development of infrastructure supporting science at the
highest world level.
At the Summit she will tell how advanced technologies, knowledge management, and
international cooperation enable functioning of one of the world’s most complex
research organisations – from the Large Hadron Collider to the global community of
thousands of scientists.
DR RUTH D. JONES, a physicist and leader with over 25 years of experience in the
aerospace sector (Deputy Division Chief at NASA) and long-standing academic
career. One of the most notable figures combining science, technology, and values-
based leadership!
At the Summit she will share her experience with work in demanding technological
environments and her view on how resilience, psychological safety, and responsible
leadership actually influence teams, innovation, and long-term organisation
development.
SIRI CHILAZI, Senior Researcher at Harvard Kennedy School, specialising in
gender equality and co-author of Make Work Fair. One of the key experts analysing
the ways of designing fair and effective work environments using the data and
knowledge from behavioural sciences.
At the Summit she will demonstrate how scientific knowledge can change an
organisation – from the recruitment and advancement process to work culture and
flexible employment models to long-term decisions influencing equality,
innovativeness, and business results.
Every year at the PWiTS we announce a TOP-100, i.e. a list of the best female experts
specialising in particular technologies, sciences, and innovation (AI, cloud computing, 5G,
cybersecurity, data science).
Continuing our mission of appreciating the notable women in STEM, in 2026 we will
announce the Top 100 Women in Biotech in Poland. We want to highlight female leaders,
scientists, and innovators who actually shape the future of biotechnology: from health
protection and natural sciences to modern technologies and sustainable growth. We would
like to ask you to nominate Polish women working in biotech here or abroad, as well as
foreign women who have notable impact on the development of this area in Poland. From the
list of one hundred, we will select the Top 10 Women in Biotech, whose achievements will
be highlighted at the Gala during the Perspektywy Women in Tech Summit 2026.
Bajtek Generation
During the 2026 PWITS we will celebrate the 40 th anniversary of the legendary Bajtek –
a magazine co-created by Waldemar Siwiński, founder of the Perspektywy Education
Foundation. Bajtek shaped the first generation of the Polish computer lovers. The Bajtek
Generation that grew up on it, the 1980s generation, today co-creates the state’s digital and
technological policy: from the Minister of Digital Affairs to the creators of the Polish
algorithm school, heads of Poland’s best IT companies, and critical infrastructure leaders.
During the Summit a unique Bajtek Generation: from 8-bit Dreams to Quantum Futures
congress will take place, uniting the microcomputer pioneers with the new wave of AI and
quantum technologies talents.
IMPORTANT!
Perspektywy Women in Tech Summit is not a commercial event – students of both
genders, studying technical subjects, physics and mathematics can receive free tickets!

Perspektywy Education Foundation – a noted non-profit organisation that inspires,
connects, and supports women in technology, science, and innovation in Europe and Central
Asia, in partnership with over 100 biggest tech companies and best technical universities in
Poland. We conduct various inspirational activities for young women in technology and
science: IT for SHE, LeaderSHEp Academy, Shesnnovation Academy, Girls Go
Science!, Girls In the Game. Most of our activities include a mentoring element – because
we believe in the value of a relationship in which persons with experience are willing to share
it with young women who have potential. For 17 years we have been supporting young
women in choosing to study technical and science subjects with the pioneering, biggest in
Poland event: Girls As Engineers! and Girls Go Science!
